REQUEST PRAYER

Louise W from United States prays,

Please pray for my son-in-law C. who I found out is still drinking alcohol even though he's had 2 acute bouts with acute pancreatitias and has developed diabetes and most recently is being treated for skin cancers. He rarely attends mass and he and my daughter are not married in the church due to former marriages and he has for over 30 years not done anything to secure annulments. My patience is wearing very thin.

I will pray for Chris your son in law. My older sister passed away in 2021 at the age of 59 from alcoholism. We had not spoken since 2015. She didn’t want to quit drinking or take care of herself as well as having diabetes, hep C and lost a leg over a fall and foot infection.. She was horrible to her family at times but mostly to herself she went through many programs as well as being distant from the church. God has a plan for everyone we just have to pray for them and let God do his work.

Louise, I will pray for Chris' spiritual and physical healing. And, pray that you may find some comfort in knowing that God our Father loves Chris dearly and has a plan for him.
