REQUEST PRAYER

Loretta Buckhanan from Alabama prays,

Please pray for me and my husband and our family to return back to living a life serving God. I'm suffering with severe depression and been dealing with alot of sickness and heart problems problems. Now my back and the sciatica nerve has caused me severe physical pain. I'm unable to take care of my family. I stay in bed all day and all I want to do is sleep and stay really still so that this nerve pain doesn't get worse. But there's no enjoyment in life anymore for me.. I have Supraventrical Tachycardia and sinus tachycardia and Ulcerative colitis and COPD & Emphysema. I deal with anxiety all the time and I was trying to self medicate by using alcohol and that's only cause me to be a person I didn't know. Now I stay to myself in my room and don't want to go anywhere .. and I have no friends or family to lean on at all.. Please pray for me and for our family please.. Thank you.

RESPOND

Paul says...
Like the woman who “touched the fringe” of Jesus’ garment and was healed (Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34; Luke 8:43-48) I pray that you too may experience the healing power of Jesus and be relieved of your anguish that you might again feel joy and know peace of mind.

Bonnie says...
I will pray that God will send you some healing. I too have felt as you do and have isolated myself away from others so they do not hurt me. May God Bless you and your family and help you. I suggest reciting God grant me the serenity prayer. This helps me a great deal when I am in a depression and aching from physical pain.

Praying for you Loretta. I suggest calling your parish and ask for a priest to come visit for communion, anointing of the sick and praying with you.
