I know your pain and will pray for daughter and for your strength. My daughter’s addiction is the same as yours. I’m going through the same as you are. We will pray together in spirit for the intercession of the Blessed Mother and Holy Spirit. A very holy subdeacon brought St. Charbel to our lives and he has saved her life, but she is not cured. Please pray in spirit with me for our children for intercession from St Charbel.

Thank you so very much for your prayers! She's been to rehab twice, but seems to bounce between accepting she has a disease and blaming others for her drinking. We've all offered to go to AA with her if she wants but she "hates it". I struggle with what to say, or not say. We walk on eggs around her, afraid something will cause her to spiral. She's very verbally and physically abusive when she drinks. When she's sober, she is a kind and generous person. She was very active in church when she was growing up. I know she loves the Lord but its like this dark cloud has covered her mind and she can no longer see the good in herself.
