REQUEST PRAYER

t from maryland prays,

My mom is extremely emotionally abusive, paranoid and accusing family members all the time of stealing and spying on her. She's trying to force us out of the house again. She's slandering us to our community. I fear she's trying to really hurt us. My dad had a stroke due to the stress. She's financially in control. She invokes curses against us and threatens us, and prays that God strikes us down. We've done nothing wrong and she won't accept any responsibility. In Jesus' name I pray for intercession

I’m so sorry to hear what you and your family have been going through. Is it possible to take your mother to a doctor for her to be screened for Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s Disease? Many of the actions and physical actions you’ve described are often the beginning symptom's that present in the early stages of these diseases. It would shed so much light on mother and start to get her clinical treatments to manage her symptoms. My Aunt and Mother-In-Law both suffered terribly from Dementia. Its devastating to the family. I’m so sorry. I’ll be keeping your mother, you and the rest of family in my prayers.

Dear T, I totally agree with Ken's advice, and urge you and your siblings to reach out for help as he suggests for help. Your Mom obviously needs help too. I pray that The Holy Spirit of God our loving Father's grace help and guide her to be a loving and more caring wife and mother. God bless you and your family.

T you need to reach out to someone who can help you and your family. Social services in your State. If you are in school reach out to your teachers. Catholic charities and the priest in your parish or local church. Friends and neighbors and even relatives. I will pray for you right now. Ken
