REQUEST PRAYER

George H. from Washington prays,

I lost my wife, Paulette, to cancer in February of this year, after a 12 and half year battle. We were together 32 years. I don't really know what to say or do, I work and try to stay busy, but I know I am grieving. Please pray for me, I know I need Jesus to help me. God bless you.

Grieving is a process for us to come to acceptance. I am reminded of this quote for all the fighters of life: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." - 2 Timothy 4:7-8 May God dwell in your heart and the love of God poured out to you and to many. When you don't know what to say or do, pause and pray to Jesus and also through Our Lady, for guidance and support, and let it go. God bless you and may Paulette be in God's loving embrace. Time heals. Praying for you George to be filled with God's peace. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen.

George, I'm praying for you this morning. Grieving is ok for us. I too lost my wife to cancer. Deidre died 3 years ago. I miss her and still grieve her loss. We were married 28 yrs. At times that grieving can be very painful. But, am comforted by praying "to" her knowing that she's now at peace in heaven in total joy with God our Father looking out for me. Paulette is with Deidre up there now looking out for you. It's good to be thankful for Him gifting her to you... And to ask Paulette to talk to God about you. She has a darn good lookout seat up there. They they say time heals. It does George. May God answer your prayers and ease your grieving. And, may Jesus walk with you hand in hand during your tough times.
