With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing. For unclean spirits, crying out in a loud voice, came out of many possessed people, and many paralyzed or crippled people were cured. There was great joy in that city. Acts 8:6-8

On the sabbath, we went outside the city gate…where we thought there might be a place of prayer. We sat and spoke to the women who had gathered there. One of them, a woman named Lydia, a worshiper of God, …listened, and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what Paul was saying. After she and her household had been baptized, she offered us an invitation, “If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my home…” Acts:16:13-15

Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:30

God mounts his throne amid shouts of joy. Psalm 47:6

…no one will take your joy away from you. John 16:22

For the Father himself loves you… John 16:27

Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. John 17:3

But I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world. John 16:32-33

I pray for them. John 17:9

They were all weeping loudly as they threw their arms around Paul and kissed him, for they were deeply distressed that he had said that they would never see his face again. Acts 20:37-38

I pray not only for these, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one… John 17:20-21

[Jesus] said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that he had said to him a third time, “Do you love me?" and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” John 21:17
