María Ruiz Scaperlanda is an award-winning journalist and author of numerous books, including, The Shepherd Who Didn’t Run: Blessed Stanley Rother, Martyr from Oklahoma, and her latest, Rosemary Nyirumbe: Sewing Hope in Uganda. In addition to writing, María enjoys leading retreats, speaking on recognizing God in our ordinary lives, and most of all, discovering life with her 13 grands.
