When we truly realize that God is Source, we understand that all we are and all we have are not reflections of our merit, hard work or good fortune. Everything is a gift from the Giver himself. This realization is where confidence and humility alchemize and become empowered gratitude. This is the basis of service, of our purpose in life, our calling.
Today, we honor Mother Teresa. St. Teresa of Calcutta’s entire life was an expression of this realization, this calling. She knew that she was a conduit and that every possession is a pass-through. Everything comes from God and is intended for his purposes. When we understand this, we cannot claim credit or hoard our blessings. When we know this, we cease striving and relax into our calling—which becomes our greatest joy.
We each have a part to play in the healing of the world. As Mother Teresa said, “In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.”
Let’s find one small thing to do with great love today.

Beautiful message today. Father God, please allow me to be a conduit for your messages to people. Amen.

Amen!

Thanks for reminding us of the importance of small actions. So often we feel that we need to do great things and are sometimes frustrated by our inability to do what we consider "great things". That's when we need to remember the importance of small actions and how powerful of an effect they can have in other's lives.

Good for day one of yesterday at post op appointment! Gauze with blood removed! Vision totally blurry and I can’t see anything clearly because of the air bubble in place to help healing! Vision will get better each day, No lifting or lay on left or back to sleep. Follow up in 3 weeks! I’m just tired…Matt keeps telling me to stop moving around and doing things…I will now…✝️

We all can find one thing to do each and every day but if it is just once a week would be a start God bless us and Mother Teresa of Calcutta so we to can do the right thing Amen Amen Amen

Thanks Kristin for your words today. " Let's find one small thing to do with great love today." Amen!

A great example and devotion, Kristin. I will look for an opportunity to 'do small things with great love' today. And carry it over to the next day and...
