Watching the news can be very challenging. We can be inundated with violence and disaster, assaulted by images and reports of terrible things. We may ask ourselves: Why is this happening? How can people do these things to each other? Where is God in all of this?
My favorite answer to the question, “Where is God in this?” was the answer given to young Fred—“Mister Rogers”—by his mother when he asked her this question. She said you can always find God in bad news, just look for the helpers. In the wake of any difficulty, this is an easy way to find God.
If people do harmful things when they don’t know the Father or the Son, what do we do if we do know them?
Be a helper

Amen!

The Lord is in every single thing he is to let it take it's course until you ask him for help then he may do something if you truly believe in him Amen Amen Amen God be with us all

AMEN

How about, let’s be a helper without any strings attached? Jesus loves ALL people, unconditionally. Thank you, Kristen

Amen. :)

Kristin thank you for those words and reminder that we are the keeper of Gods word and way. Only we can continue to give in Gods name and help others to become believers. Blessings to all the LFF, especially those with extra needs these days. I hope all Mothers had a great day yesterday and that the whole year follows suit. I had a great day and had my first experience riding an E-bike.........FUN! Holy Spirit fill the hearts of all and guide us to a more heavenly earth.

"Be a helper". We can give of ourselves and share our love and support to others. Thank you for your words today Kristin. Amen!

They do not know the One Who sent Me…Whoever hates Me hates My Father also!” *** What is God doing about it? He sends us the helper, the Holy Spirit, in John 15:26, “I will...

Something I really need to work on: being a helper instead of dwelling on the problems.

The loving Spirit of God is definitely in all things good and bad. The Spirit of life and breath is with us even in death, pain and suffering. This makes sense to look for all the helpers who care, show compassion, are understanding and deeply concerned. God is with us in good times and bad times; we just have to take time to notice the Spirit of many names that we pray in. Praise be to this community and Kristin's words today that remind us to help those who are in need of love, peace, understanding, anxiety, depression, frustrations, anger,...
