An act of betrayal begins the sacred events of the Triduum. Jesus eats the Last Supper meal with his disciples, an act of intimate friendship and sharing of living faith. And in the familial context of a shared meal, one of his disciples turns against his master. This same disciple heard Jesus preach, witnessed his miracles and saw him compassionately restore the sick and dying to health and new life.
Yet, the pull of sin toward betrayal was Judas’ response to God’s love revealed in the life and ministry of Jesus. The betrayer stands for all humanity alienated from God. Yet, betrayal is not the final word on the human condition. God’s love has the final say.
For Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection reveal that divine love is stronger than human betrayal and sin. Only the Son of God could bring humanity this graced possibility of our resurrection from the darkness of sin and betrayal.

Good morning on this Cloudy Holy Tuesday. I will put You up in Prayer Mike, that the Medical staff will be able to diagnose and treat Asap. I hope you feel better soon. Also Scott, I am putting Your daughter and all your Family in my Prayers and Rosaries. I have been a member of the Legion of Mary for 14 years. I just made my Annual Promise to our Most Blessed virgin Mother Mary on March 28, 2026. God Bless Us All. Thank you For All your help Lord in advance. Much love and respect Janet a.k.a. Sunshine

Scott, I will keep your daughter and your entire family in my prayers. I had a similar situation with our daughter who deals with anxiety and depression and I understand how difficult this time can be for everyone involved. Your faith and trust in the Lord will guide you through. My daughter has since found her faith and even made rosaries for my family a couple years ago for Christmas. May God’s light shine on all of you.

Indeed, “For Jesus’ passion, death and resurrection reveal that divine love is stronger than human betrayal and sin” since the beginning of time in the garden of Eden!!! *** Holy week started long before Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver! It started at the beginning in Genesis 3:14-15, “So the Lord God spoke to the serpent. He said, “Because you have done this, “You are set apart from all livestock and all wild animals. I am putting a curse on you. You will crawl on your belly. You will eat dust all the days of your life. I will make you and the woman...

Scott, my prayers are with you as your faith is being tested during this difficult time. From a young age my sister struggled with mental illness and I and her other siblings did our best to help her. After much love and prayers she was able to live on her own. Amazingly she also came to great faith and shared with all, the love and healing power of Jesus that saved her. Years later, when she passed, we her family, were touched by the outpouring of love and condolences from all those in the community whose lives she had touched,...

She was admitted to the psychiatric hospital north of where we live in Central, VA. My daughter was scared as there was a person who had a breakdown and was not able to get calm. Daughter is...
