By almost any metric, the persecution of Christians is at an all-time high. Martyrs abound in Africa and Asia. Religious practice is under assault in Mexico and Nicaragua. Arson and vandalism against churches are on the rise in the West.
And yet, we know that, amid such suffering and persecution, Jesus stands triumphant as a countersign to the violence, intolerance and hatred in the world. Jesus calls his followers to embody the mercy, nonviolence and love for enemy he showed at his crucifixion. Our triumph is found in imitating him, not attacking our persecutors.

Amen.

Jonathan, what a great prayer and words for all to work on! Thank you! Blessings to all the LFF, especially those with extra needs these days. May God hold us all in his hands for love and safety always as we spread his word. May the Holy Spirit fill the hearts of all to guide us to a heavenly earth.

Bring us peace and guide us to love. Amen!

AMEN!

All we need is Love as the Beatles said but also compassion for others and to ask forgiveness for our own sins God be with us all Amen Amen Amen

There are opportunities to answer the call of God to reconcile the differences and discover creative ways to love our neurons as we do ourselves. Blessings everyone as we begin to enter Holy Week.

Amen

Baptist friends have come to my home and admired it and it gives me an opportunity to share the significance and the intricacies of my Catholic faith. He watches over me when cooking, eating, playing games at the dining table, and He reminds me no matter what kind of day I’m having He’s there in the midst of it. Would I know this without that portrait, absolutely. Would I stop to appreciate...
