Spring rain, regardless of where you live, is one of the most special things on earth. Spring rain smells of promise and hope and renewal. Spring rain can be so gentle that you don’t even use your umbrella; it feels good to let yourself get a little wet, to be one with the moisture that feeds new leaves and plants.
The spiritual life varies, and union with God may be perceived via many experiences: in the aridity of the desert, the pounding sound of thunder or the electricity of lightning. But do not ignore the calm and tenderness of the Almighty’s hug that comes in spring rain

Melanie your words are always very inspiring. I will be dreaming of a slow rain all day and the feel of Gods mercy raining down on us. Like Bill L I live in the SW and we don't get to see that much. God please have mercy on this weary world these days and guide us to a heavenly earth. Blessings to all the LFF, especially with extra needs these days!

Amen

Lord rain down your mercy on all of us especially those in most need of your mercy God bless us all Amen Amen Amen

Thank you, Melanie for that beautiful visual today. Living in the southwest desert we don't experience the gentile rain very often. So, we take the Almighty's Hug any time we can.

So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us...
