Tomorrow, Palm Sunday, initiates the most sacred week of the year. How will we enter this holy time?
Jesus’ actions, commemorated this week, fulfill Ezekiel’s Old Testament prophecy. Do we truly believe our Lord makes holy and fills his sanctuary with his Presence forever?
Last July, more than 60,000 people showed up for Jesus, packing Lucas Oil Stadium for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress. Thousands more across America joined parts of the four pilgrimage routes carrying the Blessed Sacrament in processions to Indianapolis. They, and countless others watching powerful recordings, bore witness to Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist—God with us. This is our faith!
So let’s witness Jesus’ triumphal entry this Palm Sunday. Hear his words Holy Thursday: “This is my Body given up for you.” Relive his Good Friday Passion. Long for him on Holy Saturday. And then, rejoice in his Easter resurrection.
He is with us—forever!
He IS with us -forever! Amen.
Amen. :)
"Let us not forget that Jesus not only suffered, but also rose in glory; so, too, we go to the glory of the Resurrection by way of suffering and the Cross." St. Maximillian Kolbe
My prayer "Lord Jesus, may we your disciples be ever ready to lay down our lives in conformity to your will, to willingly suffer and die for you, that we may also share in your victory and glory." Alleluia
Hope so! Amen praise the Lord!
Amen.
Amen!
Amen.☮️
Amen
*** Everything under the sun was, is and will be fulfilled according to God’s plan and purpose before the beginning of the earth! He is sovereign! Lamentations 2:17, “The Lord has done what He planned to do. He has made what He said come true. He gave the command long ago. He has destroyed you without pity. He has let your enemies laugh at you. He has made them stronger than you are!” *** Here is what He has planned in Ezekiel 37:23, “They will no longer make themselves ‘unclean’ by worshiping any of their evil gods. They will not do wrong things anymore. They always turn away from Me. But I will save them from that sin. I will make them pure and ‘clean.’ They will be My people. And I will be their God!” *** We, humans, will always have the sinful nature of worshiping idols and walking away from God! It is not what I do but what Jesus has done! It is not whether I am a good person, but Jesus is good! I am not a sinner because I sin, I sin because I sin!!’ ******* The sooner I recognize it is the Holy Spirit Who does the work and not me, the sooner I surrender my will, my work and my well-being to Him ✝️ *** What happened to Jesus’ birth was in God’s plan! *** What happened to the triumphant entry to Jerusalem, what happened to the arrest and torture and crucifixion, what happened to everyone who deserted Jesus, and most of all the resurrection of Jesus from the dead…they were all in God’s plan and purpose from before the beginning ✝️ *** So…whatsoever you went through, going through and will go through are all in His plan and purpose ✝️
I've often wondered what happened from Palm Sunday to Good Friday. What was the spark that changed everything from joyous to jealous. Where were the people He cured, the Centurion and his slave, the people He rose from the dead, Lazarus, the daughter and her family, His disciples? Are we among them, too? Do we go back to our usual ordinary lives after the Lenten season is over? We must take this last week and focus on what goals we started with this season. Have we shared enough of our time, talent and treasures with our church and our community. Let us make this the Holiest week we can.
