Justice for All
Does our law condemn a man before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?
John 7:51

Today marks the 16th birthday of my daughter, Mary. She’s wedged between two older sisters and two younger brothers. She bears many of the typical traits of her middle birth order. She’s independent, hardworking and a peacemaker in her peer groups. Mary is also very concerned with justice and fairness. In her ideal world, you never dole out punishment before hearing both sides of the story, and compassion should always come before condemnation. According to my daughter, no one should be immune to love, respect and fair judgment.

Jesus was condemned with no justice and subjected to biased, unfair judgment. I imagine my daughter witnessing this account of Jesus’ condemnation preceding his eventual execution and then bravely stepping forward to ask, “What has this man done to deserve this? You cannot condemn because you don’t understand.”

Lord, help me to seek justice and love for all even those whom I do not understand.

Justice and mercy are the two sides of the same coin in God’s economy and Kingdom ✝️ *** Jeremiah 11:20, “ But Lord, You rule over all. You always judge fairly. You test people’s hearts and minds. So pay them back for what they’ve done. I’ve committed my cause to You!” *** 2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slow to keep His promise. He is not slow in the way some people understand it. Instead, He is patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed. Instead, He wants all people to turn away from sins.” *** Revelation 20:10, “The devil had caused them to believe lies. He was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur. That is where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will all suffer day and night for ever and ever!” ******* How can we be the ‘legal’ immigrants entering into the Kingdom of God? Is it cruel and unjust for God to not let everyone in? Does God let everyone in? *** Legal requirement in John 3:3, “Jesus replied, “What I’m about to tell you is true. No one can see God’s kingdom unless they are born again.” *** That’s why it is very hard to fulfill the legal requirement in Mark 10:25, “Is it hard for a camel to go through the eye of a needle? It is even harder for someone who is rich to enter God’s kingdom!” *** BUT GOD in Mark 10:27, “Jesus looked at them and said, “With people, this is impossible. But not with God. All things are possible with God.” ******* Jesus is the only legal requirement!!! Without Jesus and not knowing Jesus, there is no legal immigration into God’s Kingdom!!!

Kate your words are encouraging to me. Thank you. I struggle everyday where I live dealing with people and politicians that lie to us straight to our faces. Our poor church has dwindle down and many have gone elsewhere to mass. Blessings to all the LFF, especially those needing an extra hand these days. May God guide you each day. Prayers for our world and all politicians. That the Holy Spirit will enter their souls and guide them to be good leaders of God. Here's to a Heavenly Earth.!"

A 40-day prayer journal specifically for my daughter, Katie, the self proclaim agnostic to come back and walk with Jesus, her Savior and soon to be Lord ✝️ *** Day Twenty seven - You are God and You are good! My experience this morning with the Delta Club in ATL reminds me of the bad news (I am not a sinner because I sin, I sin because I am a sinner) and the Good News of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-24) ✝️ I was not allowed to access the Delta Club because my ticket is basic economy. But then she came over and whispered the good news, “Go ahead!” I was grateful to get some breakfast! *** This encourages me of Your goodness and faithfulness once again! Your plan for Katie is good! Jeremiah 29:11-14, “I know the plans I have for you,” announces the Lord. “I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come. Then you will call out to Me. You will come and pray to Me. And I will listen to you. When you look for Me with all your heart, you will find Me. I will be found by you,” announces the Lord. “And I will bring you back from where you were taken as prisoners. I will gather you from all the nations. I will gather you from the places where I have forced you to go,” announces the Lord. “I will bring you back to the place I sent you away from.” Amen ✝️ *** I look forward to the days when Katie enjoys the success You have for her, she will call out to You and pray to You, she will look for You with all her heart! You will bring her back into Yourself ✝️ Praise You Lord Jesus ❤️

Thought provoking reflection Kate. Jesus has been the perfect example of "unjustifed condemnation." A guiltless victim, humiliated, villified, made into an object of sheer mockery, when all he did was to comply to the will of He who sent him. He was treated like a lamb to the slaughter. All he did was ridiculed, for they made nothing of who Jesus was and what He did. He would face condemnation without any defiance. Jesus was subjected to condemnation even after they heard Him and saw what He did. Unlike Jesus, in our case, we may be condemed without being heard, or our actions seen, outside of the lawcourt. Our tendency is to make our own rash judgements about people, uncertain of their intentions and ready to condemn. Our call is to be like Jesus, to vindicate others in love, even when we don't quite understand. Sending prayers and blessings to all with special needs and intentions. Blessings Living Faith Family.
