St. Anthony
Above and Beyond
They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
Mark 2:3

How far would you go to bring someone to Jesus? As crowds pressed close to the Lord, these men must have had plenty of opportunity to give up. Whose idea was it to bring their friend when they heard Jesus was in town? What was the conversation like? Did the paralyzed man advocate for himself? Did the others take some convincing? However it happened, their action was inspired by the Holy Spirit because faith is a gift from God. And Jesus himself was moved by that faith.

The same is true for you! Perhaps the Lord has put on your heart a friend, relative or neighbor with a particular need. While it is good to remember that person in your private prayer, it is better still to ask or consider a concrete way to help. Go further and invite the person to pray with you. Then, like these five men, you can experience the closeness of Jesus together!

"Lord Jesus, through your merciful love and forgiveness you bring healing and restoration to body, soul, and mind. May your healing power and love touch every area of my life - my innermost thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and memories. Pardon my offenses and transform me in the power of your Holy Spirit that I may walk confidently in your love, truth, and righteousness." Amen

Steve your thank you for that reflection. I must admit I'm not that good at asking others to join in prayer. I am not confident enough to know that I am doing it right. I would never want to mislead anyone. Something your words inspire me to work on. Blessings to all the LFF, especially those with extra needs these days. May our prayers and love spread through all the world everyday. I have made it a habit lately to offer my communion each week to a heavenly earth. That God may guide the new president to better the world.

Studying Revelation and Daniel and reading the world headlines this week prompted me to pay attention to corporate prayers for His people and His Church!!! *** Daniel's prayer prompted me to pray for His people in the world conflicts and natural disasters!!! I usually pray specifically and mostly personal thinking what can my prayers do in the world events when God has already planned and decided what is going to happen?!?!?! I need to change that thinking and focus on what God wants me to pray to ask and to learn to be more like Jesus!!! *** Daniel 9:16-19, "“O Lord, according to all Your righteous acts, let Your anger and Your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, Your holy hill, because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a byword among all who are around us. Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for Your own sake, O Lord, make Your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by Your Name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of Your great mercy. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for Your own sake, O my God, because Your city and Your people are called by Your Name.” *** Dear God! I am so sorry for my disobedience when I want to do my own thing and ignore Your warnings and Your directions! Help me understand that without Jesus’ sacrifice, I deserve the judgment! I thank You that You sent Your Son, Jesus, to take my punishment once and for all! Amen!

I don’t want to mislead anyone concerning end times!!! Please do go to God’s Word and ask the Holy Spirit to explain what He wants you to understand!!! *** Jesus said in Matthew 24:36, 39, 42, “But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows… They (people at Noah’s time) knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes…“So keep watch. You do not know on what day your Lord will come.” *** And in Mark 14:32-33, “But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows. Keep watch! Stay awake! You do not know when that time will come!” *** Book of Revelation Summary: A Complete Animated Overview by BibleProject part I and II on YouTube ******* It is not so much to know what and when but most importantly, Who and how!!! I know God warns me in His Word over and over again the time is near, but that should not be my focus, but God is God and I am not should be my focus knowing He wins in the end and that I will be with Him and Jesus is working on me to be like Him ❤️✝️❤️

Also remember the last message of Our Lady to the seers at Fatima. The end of this world will start in the latter part of the 21st century. We are seeing the start of that now.

Praying for you and what your family is going through as you ask, Daniel ✝️ *** For the faith in Jesus, the hope declared by God and the love displayed on the cross to be with you and your famiy in 1 Corinthians 13:13, "So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love!" *** God rescues His people from satan's power in Revelations 12:11, "And they have conquered him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony (His people's lives), for they loved not their lives even unto death!" *** God's Word to give you and your family rest in Hebrews 4:11-12, "Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart!" ******* I pray with all of you saints here at LFFamily in the powerful Name of Jesus and in agreement with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, Amen ✝️

Lord please hear our prayers and bring your light to all those who have been hurt, killed and impbacted by terrorist attacks. Come to the side of those experiencing violence in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur, and the Sudan. Please hear the pleas of all those suffering around the world - and give them strength, courage and resilience to continue walking in faith. Send them your light. Father in Heaven, have mercy on us and on the whole world! You sent Your Son, the Prince of Peace, for the salvation of the world. We pray that the Peace of Christ will reign in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur and Sudan. Please protect and send aid to those in need and all who are at-risk. We pray for peace and rebuilding– we who are working towards it and for all those who are suffering or in danger from conflicts. We pray for an end to violence and war – we pray for wisdom for all leaders who have a hand in this. Lord God please help those in most need of thy mercy. Amen
