I can recall numerous times in my life when I have left retreats, spiritual workshops or times of worship and communion feeling incredibly filled by God. I am so grateful for those times of being fed, of coming away with my cup overflowing and feeling like I was caught up in the presence and movement of God. For me, these have been times of looking inward, of finding God and wanting more.
What we sometimes forget about are the fragments of these times of plenty, the leftovers that sit in our lives, waiting to be used and shared. For we are called not only to partake of God’s plenty but to share from it. There’s plenty left in our baskets. We just need to remember to look around and ask, “Who’s hungry?”
Amen
I was really stressed about being on the “go” going to the stores to get ingredients and nonstop hardcore cooking throughout Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas, however non of it is worth it unless others were able to enjoy, relax and feel the holy spirt ????????
Amen... thank you Lord for the abundance you have shared in my life
Lord, you have shared your plenty with me, and I give you thanks. Help me share what you have given me with others who hunger and are in need.
AMEN!
Love this Steve! Who’s hungry?!? Plenty left. Amen. Sending warm thoughts for those in the frigid temperatures. May they be safe and warm!
Lord please hear our prayers and bring your light to all those who have been hurt, killed and impbacted by terrorist attacks. Come to the side of those experiencing violence in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur, and the Sudan. Please hear the pleas of all those suffering around the world - and give them strength, courage and resilience to continue walking in faith. Send them your light. Father in Heaven, have mercy on us and on the whole world! You sent Your Son, the Prince of Peace, for the salvation of the world. We pray that the Peace of Christ will reign in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur and Sudan. Please protect and send aid to those in need and all who are at-risk. We pray for peace and rebuilding– we who are working towards it and for all those who are suffering or in danger from conflicts. We pray for an end to violence and war – we pray for wisdom for all leaders who have a hand in this. Lord God please help those in most need of thy mercy. Amen
My closet, my garage, my basement ,and my wallet are full of fragments.
Lord help us to share ourselves with others. Amen!
In other translations, broken pieces was used instead of fragments! *** Think of the broken pieces in our lives, how has God multiplied and made these broken pieces into master pieces? *** Think of these master pieces made from broken pieces of our lives by God, how have you shared His grace, His mercy, His master plan, etc with others? *** 1 Peter 5:10, "And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you!" ******* Meaning of these wrods in Greek: Restore - to complete thoroughly; to repair or adjust. Confirm (or secure) - to set fast; to turn resolutely in a certain direction. Strengthen - to make strong so as to be mobile; to move something that achieves something in the most effective way. Establish - to lay the foundation of. *** What broken pieces can you share today to tell others of God's grace and to give Him all the glory? *** Isaiah 64:8, "And yet, O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You are the potter. We all are formed by Your hand!" *** Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago!"
Your words are such a blessing; a reminder of our true gifts under any circumstances.
12/27/25 Yes, John’s witness accounts *** When he finally believed in John 20:8-9, “The disciple (John) who had reached the tomb first also went inside. He saw and believed (what was that John believed?). They still did not understand (what was that they still did not understand?) from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead!” *** The complete joy of the Lord in 1 John 1:3-4, “We announce to you what we have seen and heard. We do it so you can share life together with us. And we share life with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing this to make our joy complete!” *** What witness accounts do you see and what do you believe? Does your complete joy come only from the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? ******* John’s witness account with Jesus on the island of Patmos in Revelation 1:17-19, “When I saw Him (Jesus), I fell at His feet as if I were dead. Then He put His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One. I was dead. But now look! I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys to Death and Hell. “So write down what you have seen. Write about what is happening now and what will happen later!” *** My favorite John’s witness account of Jesus in John 1:1-2, 14, “In the beginning, the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning…The Word became a human being. He made His home with us. We have seen His glory. It is the glory of the One and Only, Who came from the Father. And the Word was full of grace and truth.”
