What a blessing for any of us to be in the presence of those holy feet!
Feet that propel a stranger to drop everything and help us up if we have tripped and fallen. Feet that lead a neighbor to offer the gift of consolation when we are bereft. Feet that carry a person to volunteer at a soup kitchen, ladling comfort and kinship for someone seeking a nourishing meal. Feet that take a person to a group participating in Bible study or faith sharing. Feet that impel a person who has been deeply wounded to seek out the wounding one and speak the first words of forgiveness.
Holy and beautiful feet.

Lord please hear our prayers and bring your light to all those experiencing natural disasters, as well as those in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur, the Sudan, in addition to all those suffering around the world - also for their strength, courage and resilience to continue walking in faith. Send them your light. Father in Heaven, have mercy on us and on the whole world! You sent Your Son, the Prince of Peace, for the salvation of the world. We pray that the Peace of Christ will reign in Haiti, the Middle East, Ukraine, Russia, Darfur and Sudan. Please protect and send aid to those in need and all who are at-risk. We pray for peace and rebuilding– we who are working towards it and for all those who are suffering or in danger from conflicts. We pray for an end to violence and war – we pray for wisdom for all leaders who have a hand in this. Lord God please help those in most need of thy mercy. Amen
*** These feet of mine are being sent to preach the Gospel in Romans 10:15, “And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”(Isaiah 52:7)” *** Why do we have to preach the Gospel in Romans 10:14, “How can they call on Him unless they believe in Him? How can they believe in Him unless they hear about Him? How can they hear about Him unless someone preaches to them?” *** Why do we preach the Gospel in Romans 10:13, “ Scripture says, “Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.” (Joel 2:32)” ******* I’m called to preach the Gospel and put on the armor ready to go in Ephesians 6:13-17, “So put on all of God’s armor. Evil days will come. But you will be able to stand up to anything. And after you have done everything you can, you will still be standing. So remain strong in the faith. Put the belt of truth around your waist. Put the armor of godliness on your chest. Wear on your feet what will prepare you to tell the Good News of peace. Also, pick up the shield of faith. With it you can put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Put on the helmet of Salvation. And take the sword of the Holy Spirit. The sword is God’s Words!” Amen ✝️
Please pray for my mum. Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly - (make your request here) - and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen
"The faith of those who live their faith is a serene faith.: St. Pope Leo the Great. Our Lord said "You will not be overcome." How beautiful these words! I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am signed up for Best Advent Ever from Dynamic Catholic, reflections from Word on Fire, & an Advent Journey from the St. Paul Center (Scott Hahn).
Sr. Chris that is a great way to look at things. Holy feet might give me the ability to see when I'm needed more in different situations. Thank you everyone for your suggestions for advent readings. I'm going to look at each one. Have to get the wreath out today first lol! Blessings to all the LFF and for those with extra needs these days, may Gods feet guide you and hold you up during your troubled times. May all our feet be holy and spread Gods love through all the world.
"Holy and beautiful feet." Wow how true this statement is. Walking was a major form of transportation then as is today. I image how it would have been to walk and listen to his conversations. Amen!
Ah, forgiveness from those I’ve hurt and betrayed…. Not on this earth, only from Heaven above.☮️
Hey all, I know it’s kinda late but Stormi was asking yesterday about online advent readings. I have books I rotate through the years. This year I picked up a favorite especially because I have so many notes in the margins I really see growth. It is the first in a wonderful series called “In Conversation with God” by Francis Fernandez. I have the whole series and absolutely love them. They are a purchase but if you like to go back year after year so worth the $. Have a wonderful last day of the liturgical year friends, tomorrow is a new start just as everyday is, much peace!
Beautiful dreamer, yes. It’s a beautiful day, yes. Beautiful mind, yes. Beautiful feet? I guess I got to get out more.
What a great privilege it is to be in a position to help and encourage others. What great wisdom it is to accept help and encouragement. “Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits” Mark 6:7. We are never alone

What a spectacular devotion Sr. Chris with a super strong finish. Was traveling yesterday and did not have a chance to post. Also, love the recommendations for all the Advent devotionals. Thank you all. Ken, powerful post on hospice and presence. Thank you for being present to those who need it most and whose ability to express gratitude is the least. Amen. Looking forward to a holy advent.
