We are sometimes led to wonder what life must have been like within the household of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. St. Joseph must have labored hard as a carpenter to provide for Mary and Jesus, and to protect them from the world’s harmful realities. Yet, was there anything that Jesus’ foster father, Joseph, could have taught him?
A fascinating aspect of Joseph’s life is that he is often regarded as “the Silent Saint” because no words of his appear within the New Testament. He just faithfully executed what God has asked of him. Let us take ever more seriously that to which God is calling us—our vocation to follow him. With the powerful intercession of St. Joseph the Worker and the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us work for the Kingdom of God.
I want to be like Jesus
I need You Jesus, I am Yours I am Yours I am Yours
Justin, what a wonderful world we would have if all fathers had the courage, strength and resiliency to maintain the family unit as St. Joseph did.
AMEN!
Amen God has a plan for all of us when we follow it or not is the answer God bless you all.
Prayers to all in need and for Heavenly Earth!
Amen. :)
St. Joseph. A great example of “actions speak louder than words.” How we live is more important than what we say.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Holy Family of Nazareth, we entrust to you all families the world over and we do pray that through your intercessions, families will come to know and emmulate good family morals and values and aspire to be families after your own example Amen.
