When at Mass on this feast, I often wonder what the homilist will say about the Holy Trinity. This awesome mystery is hardly one that can be neatly defined. Every once in a while, I am inspired because the focus is on the love that moves through each of the three Persons and goes forth to embrace everyone. It is this Love that has been poured into our hearts to sustain us in good times and in the not-so-good. This Love is what I count on. I do not need a theological explanation to uplift and encourage my daily life. What I do need is the assurance of a God whose Love is so abundant that it pours like a full carafe of wine into my heart.
Amen! Thank you, Sister Joyce.
What a beautiful metaphor…His Love is so abundant that it pours like a full carafe of wine into my heart. I need to remind myself everyday of His Love for us. Amen
