Prayers for our Living Faith Family on this National Day of Prayer. Also, prayers of gratitude for my grandson Zachary, who had great results from his follow up MRI yesterday. Improvement again! He has completed (and graduated) from his Physical Therapy, is in school full time now, and doing very well in grade 4. Praise God for being with him since his successful surgery for the removal of a brain tumor last September! Thankful for the prayers of our LF Family.
Amen!!
Today is National Day of Prayer! Let us pray....
1. ASK GOD TO BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord—the people He has chosen to be His own possession!” Psalm 33:12
2. PRAY FOR AMERICANS TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER, BEGINNING AMONG CHRIST FOLLOWERS
“Love one another. Just as I have loved you…” John 13:34
3. PRAY FOR THE CENTERS OF INFLUENCE IN AMERICA
“First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2
4. ASK GOD FOR THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ON THURSDAY, MAY 2, TO BECOME A CATALYTIC SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT ACROSS AMERICA
“They all were continually united in prayer.” Acts 1:14

No one from earth can understand heavenly things because "the one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things." So how could Peter and the Apostles understood God and speak heavenly things then?
* Acts 5:32, "We are witnesses of these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him."
I understand God and things from above ONLY through the Holy Spirit!!! It is not me who speaks, but the Holy Spirit Who speaks through me (i.e. when I don't ignore/evict/quiet the indwelling Holy Spirit given to me when I first believed)
Here are the steps laid out in John 3:33-34, "
* does accept His (Jesus) testimony
* certifies that God is trustworthy
* speaks the Words of God
* does not ration His gift of the Spirit"
John 3:36a, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life," reminds me of each week we share one Biblical truth with the students at BSF by asking one question. This week the question is "What is eternal life?"
The answer is "Eternal life is God's gift that comes from believing, knowing and loving God and Jesus Christ. (John 17:2-3) Eternal life begins as soon as we become God's child and never ends. (Luke 23:43) Our bodies die but we are alive with Christ and forever freed from all sin. (Matthew 25:46) God's children enjoy His presence now, in heaven and in Christ's kingdom forever. (Revelation 11:15)"
I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall be ever in my mouth. Taste and see how good the LORD is; blessed is I who take refuge in Him. Amen! (Psalm 34:2, 9)
Amen.
