- Amy Welborn
Yes Salina, you and Matt are tucked tight in my prayers.
Praying for an uneventful steady recovery.
God Bless!
Precisely!
I love your prayer, Amy! "Lord Jesus, may I be unafraid to share what You have done for me!"
As I read the Gospel today, I can't help but to notice
1. these two events in Matthew 5:13, "
* the unclean spirits came out and entered the swine.
* The herd of about two thousand rushed down a steep bank into the sea, where they were drowned."
2. And the reactions of the town people in Matthew 5:15b, 17,"
* And they were seized with fear...
* Then they began to beg him to leave their district.
Their loss of business/livelihood in the two thousand swines overshadowed the power of Jesus displayed in the healing of this troubled man with unclean spirit!
How do I do the same thing as the town people did in today's circumstance of my life?
But You, O LORD, are my shield; my glory, You lift up my head! When I call out to the LORD, You answer me from Your Holy mountain. When I lie down in sleep, I wake again, for the LORD sustains me. I fear not the myriads of people (or the unknown future for Matt) arrayed against me on every side. Lord, rise up and save me. Amen! (Psalm 3:4-7)
Thank you Amy for the devotion reminding us to spread the word.
Lord, I ask You to guide the words I speak to others to let them know of Your wonderful deeds. Amen.
Prayers for Salina and her family.
It brings tears to my eyes as I read the comments...prayers...you have for my husband and I! Your love is felt no matter where you are, no matter whether you wrote your comments/prayers or not, and no matter whether you said it out loud or in silence.......your prayers and your thoughts have been heard and are being heard on high!
It has been a difficult couple of days...knowing and yet not knowing! I took Matt into ER Sat morning with his left face drooping. He was admitted to the hospital after the CT scan. a lot of testings and medical intake questions Saturday.
Sharing with you my Instagram posts on Sunday without the pictures this weekend:
1. Matt is talking to his sister.......had a TIA infarction (some kind of brain fart :-) Going home today working on diabetes 440 mg/dL with AIC 10.4% (insulin temporarily), high blood pressure 179/130 (increase dose on medicine), and high cholesterol (new medicine). Thank God!
2. That's me in Matt's hospital bed! He s much better this morning......Thank you for all who prayed!
* Labor & Delivery? (comment from my friend questioning the location of my post)
* My reply: Second floor is the Labor & Delivery! Instagram gives me the only choice. Fifth floor is the stroke center! Come to think of it...Labor & Delivery is appropriate! God has delivered us from this 33 hours (9am Sat to 5pm Sun) of labor! New life is given!
3. My sweetheart is home catching up on his sleep. resting and renewing his brain cells! Psalm 100:4-5, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful t Him, and bless His Name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations." Amen!
Yes, we're scared! We are also standing in our sure hope because we have a great and faithful God! I love Him so much knowing He is always with us and love us so much in sending His only Son, Jesus, to die so we can live!
I don't even know what else to think or say at this time...I wish I can take his place instead. But I know I have the LF family praying for us when I know and don't know how or what to pray! I love you guys, lots!
Salina may matt be healed offering my prayers for you and your family.
Salina May God bless your family bring quick healing to your husband...

Salina sending up prayers now. May God’s loving hand be upon Matt and comfort him back to a healthy status soon.
God Bless.
Good Monday Morning to my Living Faith Family.
In our lives today we should try to share with others the true way we feel about our faith. I am a salesman and all of my customers always know where I stand on my faith and me of their’s.
I simply use this platform to share the word.
I love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all of my heart, mind and soul. I feel sometimes it is my responsibility to share with others, give them the same opportunity to enjoy and experience the joy found in the word.
Give praise today and everyday.
God Bless.
Thanks Amy. Salina, your husband is in my prayers.
Amen! Thank you Holy Father for this day and for today's Gospel. Thank you Lord for my faith, my life and for my family. Thank you Holy Father most of all for your great sacrifice and for the opportunity of forgiveness and reconciliation. Please Lord have mercy. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ now and forever. Amen
Amen!
Touching Amy.
AMEN!
Amen, make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Special prayers for the LF family today, prayers for complete healing Salina for your husband Matt.
